There’s a special type of energy at events like FitCon Texas. It brings out the best in all attendees. Not only did we as a brand get to connect with and educate people of all ages and walks of life on the vital importance of deep, rejuvenating sleep, but we as a team got to soak in knowledge and wisdom from other unique brands and people. The inspiration was full circle this past weekend at Fitcon Texas.


There are a handful of essentials we require to survive and thrive. One of those things- SLEEP. Sleep plays a dire role in our well-being and functionality as humans. Our team at Sleep Remedy has been reflecting on our own stories and the stories of those who shared with us this past weekend. 


A little background on FitCon

By fostering this environment, we provide attendees with an atmosphere that will motivate and inspire them to break through thresholds and achieve new heights. Not only do we foster a high-energy environment, but we also provide multiple types of entertainment throughout the event.”

We are inspired to say the least. 


Throughout the two-day event, we had the opportunity to have elaborate conversations with so many attendees who opened up about their struggles with their sleep on a daily basis. It’s rewarding to be able to offer a remedy. We provided hope to those who were on the verge of accepting to learn how to operate off of as little as 3 hours of sleep a night. 


We refuse to let this be any person’s reality. 


Alyssen Nguyen, was one of those incredible people we had the opportunity to connect with and learn a little more about. She took Sleep Remedy the first night of the event and returned to our booth to share her experience with us. 


She exclaimed, “I slept through the entire night last night!!!” She has been unable to sleep through the entire night for a very long time and her revived and rejuvenated energy was very clear to see. 


Alyssen has always been into sports and fitness since she was a little kid. Before knowing too much about the industry, she found ways to challenge her mind and body and discovered weight lifting. She just recently started her clothing line called Define Athletics, where she designs and sells her fitness apparel. 

During her years serving in the military, her sleep was “really bad.” She tried taking Benadryl, trazodone, Ambien, and several other sleep-related drugs. She felt as though she was sleeping, but the truth is, her body wasn’t in a deep sleep state. Due to these sleeping drugs that put the body more into an unconscious state, she would wake up feeling groggy and in a mental and physical fog that went on to impact every aspect of her daily life activities in a negative way. 


 “I would just want to go back to sleep, I wouldn’t want to do anything all day long.”


Alyssen’s enthusiasm after taking Sleep Remedy for the first time was contagious, she had us all excited about her being able to sleep through the entire night instead of waking up 4-5 times. She woke up the next morning realizing what she had been missing out on and wanted to learn more about what allowed Sleep Remedy to get her body into that deep, rejuvenated state of sleep.

We are thrilled to be able to continue our mission to help everyone achieve the highest quality life possible and realize their health, performance, and longevity goals while using sleep as the foundation!
