Let’s cut to the chase: most people aren’t short on time. They’re short on priorities.
I hear it constantly:
“I don’t have time to sleep eight hours.”
“I’m too busy to cook.”
“I can’t get outside in the morning – it’s just not realistic.”
But these same people will stay up an extra hour to binge another episode of a show. You know how many people would set their alarm an hour earlier to start their day with that same show?
Zero.
It’s not that they couldn’t. It’s that they wouldn’t.
You Make Time for What You Value
If you’re staying up late, doom-scrolling or watching Netflix, that’s a choice. You’re choosing entertainment over recovery. And that’s fine – if you’re okay with the consequences.
But don’t tell me sleep is impossible because you’re “too busy.”
