Staying Healthy through the Holidays

The holiday season can be hectic and it is easy to get caught up in the frenzy. Doc shares his top five tips for staying healthy throughout the holidays. Of course, getting good sleep is his first tip. He also includes some advice around nutrition, drinking, exercise management and deep breathing. You can even have carbs! Doc Parsley's tips for staying healthy through the holidays: 1. Focus on getting good sleep 2. Consume any refined carbs as far away from bedtime as possible 3. Same with booze, drink it as early as possible and alternate with water to decrease acidity in your blood 4. If you ARE worn out, save your intense workout for another day when you are more rested. Don't risk crushing yourself metabolically 5. Focus on deep diaphragmatic breathing, it will decrease stress hormones and help you feel happy and healthy


If you do wind up getting sick throughout the holidays, don’t fret. Just get as much rest as you can and enjoy the season.
